Carpet Maroon Dress

what colour should i do to my apartment bedroom?

i have good bedroom....with a small walk in closet...and i have a 5 month old baby too ...i have her crib in my room too.and all thing i have are brown in colour..the crib..computer table...dressing table....so which colour is hot....and i have maroon carpet ....so will mustard colour look good with some kind of stripes or something creative....and special...pls help me....and where do i buy paint from...menards...or home depot..or lowe;s.........are there any professionals there in these shops to get help?........mean while i am expecting some advice from u guys/...........so help?......

I'm not good with colors. My advice: don't pick colors in a big box store under cool-white flourescent lights: they distort how we see color! Find some color swatch strips and take them home. Look at them in daylight and at nighttime, then take it from there.
